Chrysta Rose
As a therapist, people from all walks of life enter my office looking to improve their lives and relationships. Some are in crisis while others may simply need a trusted ear.
Whatever the case, my goal is to provide a sanctuary where clients are able to share their story and achieve their personal goals. I strive to ignite and mobilize my client’s unique strengths and help them to access their own innate resiliency. I look to instill confidence in their capabilities to positively impact and influence their own lives. People have an incredible capacity to change and move towards greater mental health, and therapy can be an instrumental tool in making a step forward into wellness. My passion is to help people create positive changes in their lives so that they are able to live fully and authentically. Every client is a gift that motivates me to continue to learn and grow in the career that I love. |
My experience has included work with families, couples, individuals, and adolescents in both agencies and in private practice.
I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Washington (#LH60152242), and an associate member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. I’ve achieved a Master of Arts in Applied Behavioral Science from Bastyr University with an emphasis in System Counseling, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Washington.
Lao Tzu, a Chinese philosopher, wrote, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”. That first step can indeed be the most difficult, and likely the journey will not be easy, but we can face the challenge together and help you achieve relief, comfort, and the quality of life you deserve.
